Downtime

February 22, 2018 – Finally I have access to backend! Right now I’m restoring databases and checking what needs to be re-uploaded.

Earlier this week: Downtime was due to two reasons: 1) mistake on my host’s data center’s part and 2) script error when my host tried to fix the first one. Lost sites and then most recent backups. More details here: https://ariane.dreamwidth.org/445085.html

I still don’t have access to the backend, so can’t restore the missing stuff to the gallery yet or the missing video library from my personal backups. I’ll fix and update things as soon as I can!

There’s finally a good, simple WordPress plugin by MonicaNDesign that I like using for the video clips so I have posted them here in the Video Library 🙂

Gallery Update

Added 55 photos to the gallery that have been sitting on my HD for ages: two on-the-set pics from Dead Lines, a few screencaps from the 1991 tv show The Flash episode 1.16 Deadly Nightshade, two photos of Jeri attending the LA Premiere Of Pure Flix’s ‘Woodlawn’ After Party in 2015 and also a bunch of wallpapers. The best way to see all the new additions is to browse by date.

Actress Jeri Ryan takes part in film shoot at JCTC’s downtown campus

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Actress Jeri Ryan was at Jefferson Community & Technical College’s downtown campus over the weekend for a movie shoot, according to a spokesperson for the school.

Ben Jackey, director of marketing and PR for the school, confirmed that Ryan took part in the film shoot, which occurred in three of the buildings on campus.

“The cool thing was that part of the agreement we drew up to allow the crew to shoot here was that our students were involved,” Jackey said, in a statement. “Students in our Communication Arts Technology Program interned with the crew, and because there was a hospital scene, our nursing and surgical tech students were actually in the film as extras.”

Jackey said the school is not permitted to share the name of the film.

Ryan is perhaps best known by sci-fi fans as the character “Seven of Nine” in the long-running series, “Star Trek: Voyager.”
